What was the toughest moment during training or on race day — and how did you push through it?
Definitely balancing my own training sessions with work and content creation. There were days my body felt tired before the session even started. And race day itself, the sleds HUMBLED me😭 but I think I’ve learnt that sometimes you don’t need to feel 100% ready or strong to keep moving forward. You just take the next step, then the next one after that.
What made you decide to compete in Hyrox, and what does representing Therapin mean to you personally?
I love that Hyrox makes anyone feel like an athlete no matter your fitness level! It’s challenging as you make it to be and also really addictive in the best way. Representing Therapin feels extra special because it never felt transactional to me. It genuinely feels like a brand that supports my lifestyle and journey, not just my content. So being able to wear the Therapin name in Barcelona felt very full circle 🙏
How did you feel crossing that finish line — physically and emotionally?
Physically? Destroyed HAHAHA. Right after our race, we went out for dinner and I was falling asleep at the table😅 My partner also had to carry me back to the apartment🤭
Emotionally though… I felt super proud. I think moments like these remind me that I’m capable of more than I think I am. It wasn’t about being the fastest person there. It was about showing up, finishing strong and experiencing it with the people I care about.
What would you say to someone thinking about their first Hyrox, or to anyone who's been putting off taking care of their body?
You really don’t need to wait until you feel “fit enough” or “ready enough” to start. Everyone starts somewhere. I think taking care of your body shouldn’t come from punishment but instead, wanting to experience life more fully. Your body does so much for you every single day. Moving it, training it and taking care of it is honestly a privilege.
